Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is not a simple seaside resort. It's a preserved enclave, a wrist of land suspended between Beaulieu and Villefranche, where the Mediterranean reveals its most intimate face. Each season, the Cap welcomes a handful of insiders who return for the same rituals: the morning swim at Passable, lunch at the water's edge at Plage de Paloma, the sunset walk along the coastal path.
For summer 2026, our Travel Advisors have gathered the addresses, the experiences, and the appointments that compose a successful season on Cap-Ferrat. Far from tourist guides, here is an itinerary written by those who have been spending their summers on the peninsula for years.
The beaches: from golden sand to hidden coves
Plage de Passable remains the social epicentre of the Cap. Booking is essential, but waiting becomes a pleasure: the service is discreetly elegant, the menu signed by a starred chef, and the welcome from the Bocquet family (owners for three generations) is one of the finest experiences on the Coast.
For family swimming, opt for Plage de Cros dei Pin, below Chemin du Roy. Turquoise waters, sandy bottom, easy parking. Our concierge can have a picnic basket lunch delivered there, composed by caterer Lou Pignet.
« You don't come to Cap-Ferrat to party. You come to disappear, to listen to the sound of the sea between two fig trees, to rediscover the luxury of silence.»
The table: between stars and trattorias
Cap-Ferrat enjoys a rare gastronomic diversity. On the starred side, Le Cap (two Michelin stars) at the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat orchestrates a product-driven cuisine by chef Yoric Tieche. For a more intimate experience, Villa Mauresque (boat entrance from the sea) remains one of our 2026 favourites.
On the bistro side, do not miss Lou Pignet, a pocket-size table on the port of Saint-Jean. Booking 48h in advance. Menu changes daily based on the local catch. Our concierge can transmit your order directly, and even arrange delivery to your villa.
Bespoke experiences: the rendez-vous that make the difference
- Private boat outing with sunset aperitif on the bay of Villefranche (skipper included)
- Confidential visit of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild after opening hours
- Nicoise cooking class in your villa with a Cap chef
- Sunrise walk on the coastal path, accompanied by a naturalist
- Booking at père Pascal in Beaulieu, for the finest Grand Marnier soufflé on the Coast
Our advice for 2026
Favour the weeks of June and September. The light is sublime, beaches quieter, chefs more available. If you can only come in July or August, book everything without exception six months in advance: great addresses cannot be improvised on Cap-Ferrat.
Liberty House offers two signature villas on the peninsula, plus a selection of properties at Cap d'Ail and Villefranche to complete your stay. Your dedicated Travel Advisor will orchestrate every detail: transfers, table, private chef, personalised services.
