How do I book a villa?

Choose your villa on libertyhouse.fr and submit your booking request. A dedicated Travel Advisor gets back to you within 24 hours to confirm availability, refine your stay and send you the rental agreement.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

The minimum stay depends on the villa and the season. In high season, most of our properties are let by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. Off season, shorter stays are often possible: your Travel Advisor will confirm the exact terms for each villa.

How do check-in and check-out work?

Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out before 10 am. A member of our local team welcomes you in person, hands over the keys and shows you around the property. Self check-in can be arranged on request.

Can I personalise my stay before arrival?

Absolutely. As soon as your booking is confirmed, your Travel Advisor arranges transfers, provisioning, a private chef or any experience you wish, so the villa is ready in your image on the day you arrive. Explore everything we offer on the Services page.

Who do I contact during my stay?

Your Travel Advisor remains your main point of contact, reachable by phone and email Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm. A dedicated assistance line is also available seven days a week for any urgent request. The details are in your confirmation email.

How is the payment scheduled?

Payment is made in two stages: a 30% deposit at the time of booking, then the balance 60 days before arrival. For last-minute bookings, the full amount is settled on confirmation.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept card payment via a secure platform as well as bank transfer. Your Travel Advisor sends you the detailed instructions when your booking is confirmed.

What is the security deposit and how does it work?

A security deposit is requested before each stay to cover any potential damage. Its amount varies by villa and is communicated to you before any booking. It is released after your stay, once the check-out inventory has been validated.

Are my payments secure?

Yes. Funds related to the rental are governed by a dedicated escrow account and our professional financial guarantee. Your online payments are processed by a certified platform, and we never store your bank details.

What is the cancellation policy?

A cancellation more than 60 days before arrival gives rise to a full refund, excluding administrative fees. Between 30 and 60 days, 50% of the amount is retained. Less than 30 days before arrival, no refund is possible. Full details are set out in your rental agreement.

Which services are included in every stay?

Every stay includes a core set of services: personalised welcome, household linen, cleaning at the start and end of your stay, high-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated assistance line. Everything else is arranged à la carte according to your wishes.

Is there staff on site?

Depending on the villa and the chosen package, household staff may be present or available: a housekeeper, chef, butler or driver. Your Travel Advisor assembles the team suited to your expectations and to the property.

Are there any hidden costs for services?

No. Each service is quoted clearly and approved before it is carried out, with no hidden surcharge. You keep full control of your budget throughout your stay.

What is the Atelier?

The Atelier is our travel-design service. Starting from your wishes, it composes a bespoke editorial journal: addresses, experiences and a day-by-day itinerary, designed around your stay on the French Riviera or in Saint-Barthélemy.

Who is Laia?

Laia is the travel-design assistant of the Atelier. She asks you a few questions, then writes your personalised journal. Her work is then refined by our concierge team before it becomes a bookable programme.

Does the Atelier recommend other accommodation?

No. The Atelier designs stays exclusively around the villas in the Liberty House collection. You therefore receive a journal that is entirely consistent with your property and our network of trusted addresses.

How do I access the Atelier?

The Atelier is available from your traveller area, once you are signed in to your account. Your Travel Advisor can also start a journal with you to prepare your stay together.

From your area, the submission assistant guides you step by step: address, capacity, amenities, photos and expectations. You can start right now via the dedicated form, and our team gets back to you to arrange a valuation.

Which properties do you accept?

We are selective: exceptional, perfectly maintained villas and apartments, ideally located on the French Riviera or in Saint-Barthélemy. Sea views, a pool, a garden or architectural character are particularly sought-after criteria.

How does the management mandate work?

The collaboration is based on a detailed management mandate, signed after the valuation. It sets out the level of service, the schedule, your personal periods and our mutual commitments, with no grey areas.

What are your fees?

Our fees are entirely transparent and depend on the chosen level of service and the size of the property. They are communicated to you from the valuation meeting onwards, with no commitment. The full breakdown is on our Fees page.

Can I still enjoy my property?

Of course. You reserve your personal periods in the shared calendar, and we coordinate cleaning and the welcome for your own stays, with no minimum personal-occupancy requirement.

Do I need an account to book?

An account lets you track your requests, find your stays, save your favourite villas and access the Atelier. You can, however, send us an initial enquiry without an account, via the contact form.

How is my personal data protected?
